Dhruba Tara Chess Academy, a popular name among the localities of Shibpur, Howrah, was founded by Mr. Amiya Das in 2009. It was just not the fondness towards the sport but the intention to assist parents and kids who were eager to learn chess but was lagging behind due to unavailability of chess classes nearby. We dedicate ourselves to engage children with right thoughts to become future chess players.
Affiliated by Howrah Chess association and Bengal Chess Association since 2011, we organize different competitions amongst multiple age groups under 16 years and also open age competitions. We have a track record of hosting a minimum of 11 competitions since the affiliation. Debarghya Samanta, our student has qualified for national championship after passing the district level with flying colours.
Learn chess with fun in a friendly format that works for the kids. Our expert Trainers with quality accreditation are experienced to groom children of tender age with intensive care. A legendary start will mobilize your kid towards achieving the desired mastery by injecting the skill to think critically.
